Mr. Jacobus Brandt
Chairman
Mr. Jacobus Brandt was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cavmont Bank Limited in August 2008. Mr Brandt was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank Windhoek Limited in April 1982. In September 1998 he was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Capricorn Investment Holdings Limited, the Namibian Shareholder. Mr. Brandt was a founding member of Bank Windhoek. He studied law at the University of Stellenbosch and practiced as a commercial lawyer for over 30 years at Dr Weder, Kruger and Hartmann.

Mrs. Chitupa Muzariri
Director
Mrs. Chitupa Muzariri holds a B.A. in Economics and French as well as a Masters in French and an MSC in International Trade and Finance. She has worked as a consultant in various companies including South Africa’s Telkom,, Laughing Waters Lodge in Lusaka, Zambia, PriceWaterHouse & Coppers in South Africa and Société Générale de Surveillance in Swaziland. She has also worked for Knox Darcy, South Africa, Theta Securities and Africa Development Bank in Cote d’Ivoire. She is Executive Director of ‘The Coaching Space’ in South Africa and Executive Director of the NGO ‘Coaching for Development Global’.

Mr. Johan Swanepoel
Director
Mr. Johan Swanepoel was appointed as Non Executive Director for Cavmont Bank Limited in August 2008. Mr. Swanepoel was appointed as Managing Director of Bank Windhoek Limited on 1 July 1999. In 2005 he took up the position of Group Managing Director of the Capricorn Investment Holdings Group. Mr. Swanepoel completed his B.Com (Accounting) degree in 1979 at the Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) and obtained his B.Com (Hons.) degree in 1981. After joining Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse & Coopers) in 1980, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982. He was elected Managing Partner of Pricewaterhouse & Coppers in Namibia in 1989.

Mr. Joseph Ngosa
Director
Mr. Joseph Ngosa was appointed as a Non Executive Director for Cavmont Bank in August 2008. Mr. Ngosa serves as a Director for the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) in charge of Investments. Prior to his engagement with NAPSA, Mr. Ngosa served as Financial Services Manager , Financial Analyst and Internal Auditor for Cavmont Bank Limited. He serves as a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, is a Fellow member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants( ZICA) as well as the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). He holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom. His other directorships include: National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) Audit Committee and Investment Committee.

Mr. Guy D.Z. Phiri
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Guy Phiri was appointed as a Non-Executive Director for Cavmont Bank on the 21st of October 2011. Mr Phiri is currently serving as the Managing Director of Engen Petroleum Zambia Limited, overseeing all operations of Engen in Zambia. Before assuming the mantel of Managing Director, he served as the Divisional Manager in charge of Marketing at Engen. He also worked for Mobil Zambia as Lubricants Manager, Planning Associate and Lubrication Engineer, spanning a five year period. Mr Phiri also worked for Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM) as a Metallurgical Engineer. He holds a Masters Degree from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in Chemical Engineering and Chemical Technology. Mr. Phiri is a member of the following professional bodies; Associate Member of City and Guilds (AGGI), London, Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers UK, Zambia Institute of Directors, and the Engineering Association of Zambia. Mr. Phiri’s other directorships includes; Lupili Investments, Zambia Federation of Employers, Kyalami Property Investments, Libby Investments and Lourie Estates Limited.

Mr. Johan Minnaar
Managing Director
Mr. Johan Minnaar was appointed Managing Director for Cavmont Bank Limited in January 2010. He joined Cavmont Capital Holdings Zambia PLC (CCHZ) in February 2008 as Executive Director on secondment from the Namibian shareholder, Capricorn Investment Holdings Limited (CIH). He served as director for the repositioning project named Project Makumbi. Mr. Minnaar started his banking career in 1973, and brings a considerable amount of banking experience gained over three decades at Bank Windhoek in Namibia and ABSA in South Africa, amongst others. He holds a B.Com degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and a MBA degree from the University of Stellenbosch.
