The volatility of the Kwacha continued for a second straight day as it was seen oscillating around K4,950/$ and K5,090/$ on the bid and offer respectively during early trading. As a result, the market witnessed very little activity from both corporates and interbank players as most were seen trading the currency pair cautiously so as to avoid incurring losses.

The Kwacha closed at interbank levels of K5,025/$ and K5,045/$ on the bid and offer respectively.
